Pineapple has been piercing since 2000 and is the main modification artist at Shaman Modifications. He graduated from Kent State University with a double major in Anthropology and Archaeology with a focus on the social significance of body modification in Meso-american cultures. He moved to Austin in 2005 where he met his mentor, Bear, who was his most influential teacher and the source of the majority of his knowledge and expertise in the body modification field. Pineapple started Shaman Body Piercing & Modifications, inside Golden Apple Studios, in May of 2006 when his employer, Mercy Body Piercing, left. Shaman has grown and expanded over the years and is now Shaman Modifications Tattoo & Body Piercing in North Austin, and Shaman Modifications Body Piercing Studios in East Austin and Dallas.
Pineapple will be on medical leave during March and April. We will post here when he is able to be back on the schedule.
